Registration is CLOSED for the Fall 2019 semester on September 27th. We will re-open registration in the Spring semester 2020 starting October 4th 2020 for two weeks.
Six steps to registering you and your students in Spicewood Elementary Chess Club:
Step 1: Fill out registration information: Use the following link that takes you to the Google Form we use to register all students. All returning and new students must register using this form. Registration Form
Step 2: Signup for a Door Monitor Slot: We also ask all parents to volunteer for door monitor positions using this form: Door Monitor Signup
Step 3: Signup for a volunteer position: We need parents to volunteer for other open positions we have on our volunteer position form: Volunteer Positions Signup
Step 4: Fill out RRISD Parental Permission form: All school clubs are required to get this permission form filled out and signed by the parent. Permission form is located here Please print and fill out this form and send to Chess club with your student(s). If you have more than one student in Chess club, we only need one form filled out, just make sure you add all the kid’s names to the form.
Step 5: Fill out RRISD Volunteer application: Please remember all volunteers need to fill out an RRISD Volunteer application. Online form located here This requires you to enter your social security number. If you do not want to put your SSN online, there is a paper form you can fill out and turn in manually located here.
Step 6: Pay registration fee: Spicewood Elementary Chess Club registration fee is $50 for one student, $90 for two students and $120 for three students. To see what the fees go to, please look at one of our review presentations. Part of the fee pays for a t-shirt for each student as well as all teachers and staff at the school. If your student participates in the National School Lunch Program, all registration fees can be waived. Please email email@example.com for more information.

If you would like to pay your child’s registration fee prior to September 27th, please postdate your check September 27th.
